One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The service from the girl at reception was impeccable!!! I was happy they checked in early, my baby was very tired from the trip and needed some sleep. the room was big, bright and clean. the sofa is super comfortable. I also liked the shampoo and conditioner dispenser. plenty of clean towels to use in the pool. I met 3 cleaning people during my stay, everyone was super polite and friendly with my baby. I really liked the hotel and the location, I want to go back after Memorial Day to enjoy the beach more. the snacks and headache medicine next to the reception were great so I didn't have to leave the hotel.

All staff we interacted with were friendly & helpful. Housekeeping staff were super attentive. Location was great. Beds were comfortable with ample pillows! Buildings were safe & secure (all areas required key card access to enter). There was also a dishwasher in the kitchen that I didn't realize would be there so that was a nice surprise.

The view of the beach and boardwalk from the balcony was great. You can see all the activity and close walk to stores.

The hotel was very clean, they have 2 elevators that are large enough to accommodate everything we were traveling with (baby gear). The rooms were very nice and clean. I loved that they had a laundry facility available (for $2) which was great when we needed to clean the baby’s things. The outdoor pool was also very nice, there was a bar and the hotel provided towels. They also had a restroom at the pool along with an area to clean off sand.

Loved the location and our room was big enough for everyone to sleep comfortably. Love that our room was right by the pool entrance and the hotel is off the boardwalk. Hotel was also very clean 👌and staff very nice.

Anytime I go to the beach sand is everywhere, of course, but the Commander was spotless from top to bottom. Very impressive. Nice carts to use and the facilities were labeled clearly, ice machine here, heated pool there, beach access through here. They even thought of putting chairs and a table on the balcony. Very personable staff as well. It was perfect. The rooms were cozy and efficient enough for my family with 3 young children could function and still enjoy the ocean/beach. . Next time I go to the OCMD, I'll definitely be looking at staying at the Commander again.

All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating at this hotel! We arrived around 12:00 pm at the hotel and our room was already ready for us when check in wasn’t supposed to be until 4:00 pm! The front desk manager went above and beyond for us when we decided last minute that we wanted to stay an extra day! The oceanfront view from the second floor was absolutely gorgeous and the location was perfect! The outdoor pool was so nice and there were plenty of lounge chairs for everyone. It was also an added perk that we got 2 free beach chair rentals each day with our stay! The housekeeping staff were very attentive and had our room cleaned and the beds made on the days we requested housekeeping services. I look forward to staying here again next year!

I liked the size of the handicap accessible room. Love the chairs on the balcony. The AC was super chilly. Love that. We were able to store the chair in our room and plug it in. Staff was always friendly and the free coffee was a nice touch

It had been several years since my son and I went to Ocean City. I chose the Commander Hotel and Suites due to its location and affordability. Once we arrived, I learned our stay also included free beach chairs daily, free bicycle rentals, and discounts on various other amenities. The room was large and clean with an wonderful view of the ocean. The beds were comfortable. Parking was convenient and never a problem finding a spot. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience and if we would decide to return to Ocean City, feel very confident we would stay at the Commander again.
